Since opening our doors CoffeeWORKS has been a key source in Thailand for authentic imported single origin coffees as well as Thai Arabica coffee from Chiang Mai and the surrounding northern provinces. Chances are you may have enjoyed our products that supply the many coffee chains and small independent coffee shops that now infuse Thailand’s growing cafe culture.
Prior to building CoffeeWORKS in Thailand our co-founders worked in the US west coast coffee market when the specialist coffee shop business model was still populated by less than a dozen store fronts. Since founding CoffeeWORKS, our company has formed wide-ranging working relationships throughout the Italian, European, Southeast Asia, and Thai coffee industries. Combined with our original U.S. coffee background, we have absorbed a unique mix of coffee industry cultures, consumer insights, and product development capabilities that underpin the value we deliver to our customers.
Former primary school friends who both later gain US coffee and cola industry experience co-found CoffeeWORKS in Thailand. The company is registered under the Thai-US Economic Amity Treaty.
Opens a garage start-up coffee roasting operation in western Bangkok, which is the inspiration for the brand name, “CoffeeWORKS.” CoffeeWORKS first introduces fresh coffee deliveries and coffee machine solutions to the corporate/office sector in Thailand.
CoffeeWORKS is chosen as the roaster/supplier for Thailand’s first western style coffee shop chain Coffee World, the first branch of which opened at ABAC University in 1998.
CoffeeWORKS becomes the Cimbali brand espresso machines importer and distributor for Thailand.
CoffeeWORKS becomes the Coffee Queen of Sweden filter coffee brewers distributor for Thailand, now manufactured and sold under the brand CREM.
CoffeeWORKS opens its Bangkok Experience Center on Sukhumvit Soi 26.
CoffeeWORKS opens its Eastern Seaboard Thailand Experience Center in Pattaya.
CoffeeWORKS opens its Northeast Thailand Experience Center in Khon Kaen.
CoffeeWORKS opens its Southern Thailand Experience Center in Chalong, Phuket.
