Slayer builds specialty espresso machines by hand in Seattle for cafés, roasteries, and design-led hospitality venues. The brand has been shaping specialty coffee bars since 2007 with patented needle-valve flow control, independent brew and steam boilers, and machines you can spec down to the wood grain. CoffeeWORKS is one of the official distributors for Slayer in Thailand with demo, installation, and technical support from our Bangkok base.
Slayer designs and manufactures professional espresso machines for specialty operators. The company was founded in 2007 in Seattle, where the Espresso and Steam lines are still designed and built. Three technical choices set Slayer apart.
Slayer’s signature is the patented needle valve on its Espresso line, which gives the barista direct manual control over water flow rate at the group head. A restricted flow at the start of extraction saturates the coffee bed gently, bringing out sweetness and clarity, before the barista shifts to full flow to finish the shot. It’s a hands-on technique built for third-wave and specialty roast profiles.
Every Slayer commercial machine runs a dedicated brew boiler system alongside a separate steam boiler. Brew boilers are PID-controlled for shot-to-shot consistency, and the isolated steam tank lets baristas pull shots and texture milk continuously through peak service. Multi-group Espresso V3, Steam EP, and Steam LP models carry high-capacity steam tanks of 7.4 litres on 2-group and 12 litres on 3-group configurations.
Slayer machines are built by hand and can be customized down to the finish. The Espresso line offers alternative wood species and metal finishes across V3 and Single Group models. On the Steam LP, owners can also select chrome-plated wings, sapele wood actuators, and body color options including turquoise, glossy white, bone beige, and matte black. The result is a low-profile chassis that reads as a bar centerpiece.
Slayer’s lineup splits into two commercial lines plus a matched grinder, each built around a clear philosophy.
Built around manual needle-valve control for baristas who want to shape every shot.
Volumetric dosing and record-and-playback recipe control for cafés that need speed without giving up specialty quality.
Slayer Dose is the first product born from the partnership between Slayer and Italian grinder manufacturer Mazzer. A low-RPM grinder built for medium and high-volume specialty cafés, with 69mm conical burrs, a built-in scale accurate to 0.01g, a vibration-filtering algorithm for consistent dosing, and a magnetic dosing cup for hands-free grinding.
The right Slayer depends on menu style, throughput, and how craft-driven your baristas want to be.

For lower-volume specialty setups, the Espresso Single Group or Steam Single is the fit. Both carry independent brew and steam boilers in a compact footprint. Choose Espresso Single Group for hands-on needle-valve craft, or Steam Single for record-and-playback convenience with pre-infusion still on the table.
Busy specialty cafés and multi-site operators typically look at Steam EP or Steam LP in 2-group or 3-group configurations. Steam EP suits fast, repeatable volumetric service. Steam LP suits teams who want speed plus the option to pull manual pressure profiles. Both carry high-capacity steam boilers for milk drinks at peak.
For roastery tasting bars, hotel signature coffee programs, and design-forward hospitality venues, the Espresso V3 is Slayer’s showpiece. Full needle-valve craft control, independent brew tanks per group, high steam capacity, and a fully customizable exterior make it a genuine bar centerpiece.

| Espresso Single Group | Espresso | Manual paddle with patented needle-valve flow control | 1 | Independent brew and steam boilers in a compact footprint | Small specialty cafés, brew bars, tasting rooms |
| Steam EP | Steam | Programmable volumetric dosing with 9-bar extraction and pre-wet | 2 or 3 | High steam capacity, volumetric repeatability | Busy, high-volume specialty cafés and chains |
| Steam LP | Steam | Manual with variable pressure plus volumetric record and playback | 2 or 3 | Powerful steam, hybrid craft and consistency | Specialty cafés wanting both craft and speed |
| Steam Single | Steam | Record and playback with dedicated pre-infusion circuit | 1 | Strong steaming in a compact single-group footprint | Smaller milk-heavy cafés, bars, kiosks |
| Slayer Dose | Grinder | Low-RPM grinding with built-in precision scale | n/a | Matched to Slayer machines | Any café running a Slayer espresso machine |
Slayer’s needle-valve control and independent boiler stability make the Espresso line a natural fit for specialty cafés and roasteries showcasing their own beans. Baristas can dial in flow profiles per origin and repeat them shift to shift.
For hotels, restaurants, and members’ clubs where the bar is a design feature, Slayer’s customizable finishes and low-profile chassis let the machine sit inside the interior concept. The Espresso V3 in a custom finish is the usual pick.
For cafés with heavy milk menus and steep peak-hour demand, Steam EP or Steam LP delivers volumetric speed with the steam capacity to keep pace across 2-group and 3-group configurations.
Slayer needs to be tasted and pulled to be understood. Our Bangkok, Pattaya, Khon Kaen and Phuket Experience Centers have Slayer set up alongside our full commercial coffee lineup. Come in for a demo, request pricing, and pull some shots with us for the full quality experience.
Bangkok-based operators can walk into the Experience Center during weekday hours. Teams outside Bangkok can arrange a remote consultation, and our regional service network in Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Si Sa Ket, Bangkok, Pattaya, Koh Samui, Surat Thani, Phuket, and Hatyai supports installation and follow-up service wherever the machine lands.
A: Slayer commercial machines run on single-phase or three-phase power depending on the model and configuration, with dedicated plumbing for brew water and drainage. A pre-installation site assessment confirms water quality, filtration, and electrical readiness so the machine is protected and running at spec from day one.
A: Lead times depend on model, configuration, custom finish choices, and current stock. Our team confirms a delivery, installation, and staff-handover timeline in the quotation and factors in any custom-color or wood finish selections at that stage.
A: The Espresso V3 and Espresso Single Group reward focused training. The needle-valve paddle gives baristas control over pre-infusion and flow rate, so a short training block helps the team dial in profiles per coffee and hold them consistently. The Steam line uses more familiar volumetric workflows and is quicker to onboard.
A: Yes. Slayer offers alternative wood species on actuators, chrome and polished metal finishes, and on the Steam LP, body color options including turquoise, glossy white, bone beige, and matte black. Finish selections are locked in at the ordering stage and factor into the lead time.
A: Original Slayer spare parts are sourced through CoffeeWORKS’ Samut Prakan technical back office, and our regional service points hold rotating inventory for common service items to keep response times short during peak season.
